Description
ASTM-A269 Stainless Pipe Properties
ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) has also set several standards in the pipe industry and ASTM-A269 is one of them. Although chemical properties, nominal outside diameter and wall thickness are the same with some standards, they are basically pipes with different physical properties. Stainless steel pipes in our stocks are produced in accordance with DIN-2353 standard connection elements. Incompatible pipes and connections will cause the system to malfunction, causing pressure drops and leaks. By our customers, hydraulic 25×3mm Stainless pipe is generally used by welding and ringing method.
Although small differences in pipe diameters, especially at different standards, can cause imperceptible problems at low pressures, they can cause major problems in systems at high pressures. These problems can cause loss of life and property. For example; if you want to get high pressure by using ASTM-A312 seamless pipe and ring fittings instead of ASTM-A269 seamless pipe in your hydraulic system, this system can cause you heavy cost loss. Since the tolerances of the ring and hydraulic pipe do not match, the ring cannot tighten the pipe at the desired rate, which causes oil leakage.

316L Stainless Pipe General Features
AISI 316L (EN 1.4404) belongs to the austenitic group. 316L 25x3mm stainless pipes have high corrosion resistance and mechanical values and contain less carbon than AISI 316 (EN 1.4401) quality. Therefore, machining ability, welding property and corrosion resistance are higher. It is used in ship industry, petro-chemistry, chemical military equipment and food industries. 316L stainless steel hydraulic pipes are widely used in many developing and changing sectors. It is very economical in the long term and reduces system costs.
- Resistant to corrosion,
- Aesthetics,
- Resistant to heat and pressure,
- Long Term Costs are Low
- Fully Recyclable
- Ease of production and cleaning
Stainless Pipe Usage Areas
Although there are many standards and different types of pipes, we can examine them under two main headings as stainless steel and normal steel. When we look at the application areas, stainless steel pipes can be used very easily instead of normal steel pipes, but you cannot use normal steel pipes in a system where stainless pipes should be used.
Stainless pipes are systematically used in stainless steel products in many fields such as petro-chemistry, dams, food industry, ship industry, defense industry, iron and steel industry, refinery and paper mills.
